Pondering God’s Word was written to show the importance of studying the Bible by relating life experiences to scripture. The author’s collection of journal entries and Bible study lessons demonstrate how scripture has played a crucial part in his day-to-day life. The reader may then be encouraged to find answers for their own adversities by looking to God’s word.

Diane has a style that is missing in most Christian themed books. She has that bared soul honest writing which almost immediately earns your trust. As she chronicles her own prayer life progress she offers several insights to help her readers have a closer walk with Christ. Chapter 13, Be Still, was one that really hit home with me. I highly recommend you add this to your reading list.
Rarely do I find a book that I can’t put down until I finish. Stefanie’s nameless characters, by contemplating the decisions they have made throughout their lives, give the reader something to consider, in regards to the importance of communication, or lack thereof, in our own relationships. I highly recommend.
Absolutely loved this book. Diana’s personal memoir is an inspiration on many levels. She shows us how when we fail God terribly and suffer those consequences, if we truly repent and turn back to Him, God is able to turn our consequences into new avenues to serve Him that we never thought possible. |
